Q: Can individuals with special needs participate in martial arts?A: Certainly, T-1 Martial arts and many other martial arts schools offer programs designed to be inclusive and accommodating to students with special needs. It's important to communicate with the instructor about your child's specific requirements to ensure a supportive learning environment. With the right guidance and adjustments, martial arts can be a rewarding and beneficial experience for individuals with special needs, promoting physical fitness, self-confidence, discipline, and overall personal growth.

Do I have to spar?A: No, participation in sparring is entirely up to the student. Level 1 classes mainly concentrate on teaching techniques and enhancing fitness levels, with no sparring involved. If students express interest in sparring after mastering the fundamentals and showing good control, they can join Level 2 classes, which include contact drills and light sparring.

What do I need to start?A: The key elements to bring to the gym are respect and an open mindset. Martial arts focuses on developing better individuals rather than just enhancing fighting skills. Learning to fight is a bonus! No equipment is required for your first day. Should you choose to continue training, you'll receive a uniform upon registration. If you opt for sparring classes, you'll also need sparring gear, which is available for purchase at our academy
